The Page Turner Awards is a writing competition that gives writers and authors the chance to enter unpublished or published fiction and non-fiction books or screenplays, where a group of literary agents, publishers and film producers will read the work. Our judging panel is carefully comprised of industry experts, and includes the celebrated actor Paul Michael Glaser from Starsky and Hutch fame. You can browse through our wonderful judges and the kind of entries they're most looking forward to reading here.

Success stories from last year’s awards include three writers winning literary representation, six writers winning a writing mentorship, five writers winning a publishing contract and thirteen independent authors winning an audiobook production.

Our successful awards programme has changed the lives and careers of many budding and aspiring writers with high-value support prizes. You can view prizes available here.

This is a super exciting opportunity for writers to share their work, and perhaps receive one of these potentially life changing prizes.

In total, there are five award categories, and you can enter up to five submissions across the different award categories.

  1. Writing Award - for unpublished, completed manuscripts.
  2. Young Writer Award- for writers aged between 18 and 25.
  3. Writing Mentorship Award - for uncompleted manuscripts.
  4. Book Award- for authors with a published book, mainstream or independently published.
  5. Screenplay Award - for screenwriters with a completed script, or authors with a book that will need to be adapted into a script.

The Page Turner Awards accepts entries internationally, in fiction and non-fiction, across all genres. The final deadline for submissions is May 31st.
