Created in 2011 as a digital extension of our Yearbooks in both name and ethos, www.writersandartists.co.uk is a dynamic, free-to-join community platform that’s home to over 70,000 subscribers. The site features hundreds of free-to-view articles and resources that offer essential practical guidance on both the creative and publishing process, as well as insight into careers within the publishing industry itself. On top of being a digital space for like-minded creatives to connect, the site also hosts regular free writing competitions, and provides opportunities for people to pitch blog posts or upload writing calendar entries. Exclusive discounts, reward point incentives, and information about industry initiatives (such as work placements or financial assistance) are shared on a regular basis.

In addition to the free content, writersandartists.co.uk also offers a range of competitively priced editing services, events, writing courses, and subscription products. Our editing services are designed to give writers access to the guidance and expertise of industry professionals at crucial moments in the development of their manuscript. They feature practical, engaging workshops and presentations by best-selling authors, literary agents and editors, while our online writing courses are led by authors and creative writing practitioners.
